Do you like to snark bad poetry? Then I suggest you check out Love: Poems by Danielle Steele. Search inside the book, hit the "Surprise me" button for pure hilarity. Too many good ones to list, though I am fond of:
"Razzle dazzle snow scene
my life so white so bare so vast
and then your open door
my heart whooshing toward your arms..."
or -
"Jam.
There must be jam,
you told me
firmly
with a half-hidden smile
of satisfaction
and a promise
I was yet
to understand..."
or maybe "The Year of the Bears". Yeah, that's a good one too. I think I will have to get my own copy of this, I wonder if the campus library has a one? Maybe I can write my thesis on this.
