Happy Halloween!

We had a record number of trick-or-treaters this year. And a first: a little girl in a pack of little kids started crying! I heard her wails after I had dispersed candy to the pack and shut the door. "There's no crying in Halloween!" I told her. One of her little friends said that something had startled her. Hopefully it wasn't me. After all, I wasn't wearing the spiffy "Medieval Maiden" wig that I picked up earlier this week. I was hopeful that it could be used for SCA costuming purposes, but it smells like a dog and it's squeezing my head.
