So long, English_Majors

The most annoying person has taken to posting in english_majors. She's a neo-con, who, under the guise of posting a writing sample that she wanted feedback on, posted an anti-choice bit of...something to the list. Yes, the only evidence of a world gone mad is legal abortions! Forget that whole nuclear arms race and war in Iraq. Iraqis are dying for freedom, so that's different.

I'm so tired of arguing with people like that. Because conservatives only care about the fetus in utero. Once it's born, the child and mother can fend for themselves. We can't have social programs, that would increase our taxes! Is't that a bit hypocritical? Really, who would Jesus bomb? Would he hang out with Karl Rove and the guys from Enron? Or would he be working in a soup kitchen?

Then there's the person who wants ideas for an English paper, but gets resentful when people feel that she's fishing for ideas without doing any work beforehand.

I remember when english_majors was for fun stuff like book recommendations. It's been taken over by annoying undergraduates!
