Better not be any potato sack races

Ugh. I forgot that shipbrook's employer is hosting the dreaded "company picnic" outing this Sunday. Nothing like getting together with a bunch of people with whom we have little in common, save for being carbon-based life forms. I do hope that beer will be part of the festivities.

What is it about company functions like that, anyway? Isn't it enough that we spend at least 40 hours a week together?

Am torn between the need to save as much money as possible and the desire for not having to cook dinner tonight. I could really go for Indian. Though I would settle for just not cooking.
